How do I view, print, and share GST tax invoices?

GST Compliance in StoreYug

StoreYug automatically generates professional, tax-compliant invoices for every transaction. If your store has GST enabled, the invoice includes your GSTIN, HSN/SAC codes, and a detailed tax breakdown.

Invoice Features

  • B2C & B2B Invoicing: Displays buyer name, address, and optional customer GSTIN for business input credit.
  • Tax Breakdown: Automatically splits taxes into CGST (Central GST) and SGST (State GST) for intra-state sales, or IGST (Integrated GST) for inter-state deliveries.
  • Unique Public URL: Every invoice is secured with an immutable public link, allowing customers to view or download their bill on their phone without logging in.

How to View and Access Invoices from Sales History

  1. From your dashboard sidebar, go to Sales History (or Orders).
  2. Locate the transaction by receipt number, customer phone, or date.
  3. Click the View Invoice button in the top action bar.
  4. The invoice preview renders with your store branding, invoice number, itemized products, tax breakdown, and bank details.
  5. Click Print Invoice to print on standard A4 paper or save as a PDF document.

Sharing Invoices on WhatsApp (Zero Paper Waste)

StoreYug prioritizes modern, paperless commerce. Instead of thermal paper receipts, send digital bills instantly to your customer’s WhatsApp:

  1. In the Order Details view, click the Share on WhatsApp action button.
  2. StoreYug opens WhatsApp with a pre-filled greeting message containing the order receipt number, total amount, and direct link to their digital invoice.
  3. Click Send. The customer can open and view their bill directly on their phone.
💡 Note on Printing Hardware: Thermal label printers (4x6 inch) in StoreYug are used exclusively for courier Shipping Labels. For customer bills and receipts, StoreYug uses 100% digital WhatsApp invoice links or standard A4 document printing when physical copies are required.
