How do I mark an order as Delivered and collect COD payment?

The Final Fulfillment Milestone

Marking an order as Delivered completes the fulfillment cycle. Once delivered, the sale is moved into your permanent Sales History for revenue tracking, profit analytics, and GST tax filing.

Delivering a Prepaid Order

Because prepaid orders have already been paid in full, completing delivery is simple:

1. Open the Shipped order details page.
2. Click Update Status → Mark Delivered (or click the Delivered step on the timeline).
3. Verify the delivery confirmation prompt.
4. Toggle Send WhatsApp notification if you wish to send a courtesy delivery confirmation to the customer.
5. Click Yes, Mark Delivered. The status updates to Delivered.

Delivering a COD (Cash on Delivery) Order

For Cash on Delivery orders, delivery is coupled with payment collection at the customer's doorstep:

1. Open the Shipped COD order.
2. Click Update Status → Mark Delivered & Collect Cash.
3. Review Amount to Collect: The modal prominently highlights the exact Amount to Collect (e.g. Collect ₹1,450.00 from the customer upon delivery).
4. Select Payment Method Collected:
   • Cash: Customer paid with physical currency.
   • UPI: Customer scanned the delivery executive's UPI QR code at the door.
   • Credit/Debit Card: Customer paid via mobile card swipe terminal.
   • Bank Transfer: Customer made an instant IMPS/NEFT transfer.
5. Upload Payment Screenshot (Optional): If payment was collected via UPI or card, you can attach screenshot proof.
6. Click Confirm Delivery & Cash Collected.
