How do I create a StoreYug account and register my store?

Overview

Setting up your business on StoreYug takes just a couple of minutes. During registration, you create both your personal merchant login and your branded digital storefront in a single streamlined workflow, secured by instant email verification.

Step 1: Completing the Registration Form

1. Navigate to the StoreYug registration screen by clicking Get Early Access on the login page or Create Account on the homepage.
2. Fill in your store and account credentials:
   • Store Display Name: Enter your public brand or shop name (e.g. Fresh Bakes & Treats, Apex Electronics). This name appears on your storefront header, product receipts, and WhatsApp share links. Must be between 3 and 100 characters.
   • Store Username (URL Slug): Choose your unique store handle (between 3 and 30 characters). This handle forms your permanent online store web link and can also be used to log in. The input automatically lowercases letters and replaces spaces with underscores (only lowercase letters, numbers, periods, and underscores are permitted).
   • Email Address: Enter your active administrative email address. StoreYug uses this email to send verification codes, security alerts, and customer order summaries.
   • WhatsApp Number: Enter your active mobile phone number. An interactive country flag selector automatically formats international prefixes (e.g. +91 for India).
   • Password: Choose a strong account password containing at least 8 characters. The form includes an eye toggle icon to inspect what you type, an interactive 4-bar strength meter, and a live 5-point requirements checklist.
   • Confirm Password: Re-enter your password to prevent typos. A real-time match indicator confirms when both fields match.
   • Terms of Service Checkbox: Check the confirmation box agreeing to StoreYug's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
3. Click the Create Store button to submit.

Step 2: Email OTP Verification

To protect against unauthorized account registrations and ensure your contact email is valid, StoreYug immediately dispatches a 6-digit verification code to your email inbox:

1. Open your email client and look for an email with the subject "Verify your email - StoreYug".
2. Copy or memorize the 6-digit code. The code remains valid for 5 minutes.
3. On the Verify Email screen, enter the 6 digits into the input box.
4. Click Verify & Create Account.

Step 3: Instant Dashboard Onboarding

Once your verification code is confirmed:

• Your user account and store profile are permanently activated in the database.
• You are automatically logged in and redirected straight to your merchant dashboard.
• A welcome notification awaits in your dashboard notification tray to guide your initial catalog setup.
